NOW AND NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Steve Teeling says Wednesday will be a messy day with snow developing late morning into the afternoon. It mixes with sleet and rain midafternoon and transitions to all rain by evening. There will be snow accumulations and slippery travel during the first part of this storm. Rain will be heavy at times Wednesday night with a thunderstorm also possible. It will be windy Wednesday and at night as well with some gusts over 30 mph.
NEXT: Quiet weather and dry weather will end the week Thursday through Saturday with the next chance of any rain or showers Sunday night.
TONIGHT: Clear skies early, cloudy by dawn and cold. Low of 28.
WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with snow developing during the late morning. Staying snow into the midafternoon before mixing with sleet and changing to rain. Mostly rain at night with the exception of northern Litchfield County where it stays a wintry mix. Becoming windy during the day and into the night. High of 42.
THURSDAY: Clouds and sun and windy. High of 45.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and colder. High of 38.
SATURDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. High of 44.
SUNDAY: Some morning sun with more clouds in the afternoon. Light rain possible at night. High of 45.
