Highs will be in the mid-50s. Wind gusts can reach up to 40 mph during the evening.
Wednesday is expected to have highs in the mid-60s before temperatures drop back down to the upper-30s on Thursday.
FORECAST:
- Rain for Tuesday. Low passes to our north with cold front and rain. Looks warm enough that we shouldn't see any precip issues. Winds kick on on Tuesday afternoon/night. Strongest gusts near shore. At this point it doesn't look extreme for NJ (winds 30-40 mph gusts). CT may have some higher gusts (40 mph+). Rain up to 1.25". More rain north than south.
- Super warm Wednesday once the sky clears (think spring)
- Friday's system - cold air damming comes into play and the track of this too. Secondary low looks for form near tri-state if not right over. Let's see if this trend continues. Going north or south a bit will change up precip type. Could be wintry to start both regions.
