A major housing development is coming to New Haven, with Gov. Ned Lamont announcing Wednesday that Gilbane Development Company and Mural Real Estate Partners will lead the project next to Union Station.
City officials say the project will expand housing options and support local economic growth.
The two towers will include 470 apartments and nearly 300 parking spaces.
"Across the street you're going to see a dramatic change in five years," said Mayor Justin Elicker. "You're going to see what is now parking lots and vacant space become neighborhoods… places that are a welcoming mat to the city."
