Filmmakers from all over the country will be in Bridgeport this weekend.
"We have people coming in from LA, Boston, Philadelphia," says Jason A. Coombs, co-founder of the festival.
The festival will include three full days of film screenings of more than 100 short films from 13 different countries.
"We're hoping to inspire people from Bridgeport," Coombs says. "To see themselves reflected into the films and change the narrative of Bridgeport by sharing their own stories."
Organizers say because of the event, they're able to raise scholarship money for high school seniors pursuing majors in the arts and communications.
"There is this really good energy that just keeps going and keeps growing every year," Coombs says.
