A sweet shop in Woodbridge is hoping it's busiest day on the calendar will be the start of a big rebound for the new year.

Chip in a Bottle's master chocolatier, Darrell Nurse, says he has a passion for chocolate and making desserts.

He says he makes mostly truffles, but can make just about anything, including gelato, cheesecakes and macaroons.

For Valentine's Day, Nurse says the bakery plans to mass produce truffles. He says when the pandemic hit, the bakery lost many customers because they weren’t seeking to buy high-end chocolate.

He plans to push Valentine's Day as much as possible with all of his specialties front and center.

The shop is located on Selden Street in Woodbridge.
