Public Facilities Operations in Norwalk, Bridgeport and across Western Connecticut are on standby for snow and a wintry mix.
Hardware and big box stores are seeing a boost, with residents shopping for shovels, salts and other products to prepare them for the weather.
Forecasters say for Sunday night, the snow will mix with and change over to rain in some areas, especially further south. Across Western Connecticut, lows are expected to be near freezing.
