Behind a six-run third inning, Danbury punched its ticket to the Northeast Collegiate Baseball League semifinals with a 15-1 win over Vermont Tuesday night. Former Westhill High star Bobby Zmarzlak's second double of the game drove in two runs and opened up the scoring. Daniel Labrador blasted a two-run homer later in the inning, and he would go yard again before the game was over.

The Westerners are currently waiting to see who their semifinal opponent will be.
