The bird was caught in the grill of the car.

A Weston police officer rescued an owl Wednesday night after it was hit by a vehicle.
The bird was caught in the grill of the car.
Sgt. Joe Miceli was able to free the animal.
It was then taken to Christine's Critters' where it will heal before being released back into the wild.
