Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz administered the Oath of Office to newly elected town officials of Weston.
This includes First Selectwoman Samantha Nestor, who won reelection against Republican challenger Stephan Grozinger with an 826-vote lead.
“It is a great honor to be able to swear in all of our newly minted elected officials,” said Bysiewicz. “What I love about all of the people who will be sworn in is how they come from different parts of the community."
Nestor also said how grateful she was for voter turnout this year -- it stood at 43%, which exceeded the state average of 33%.
