Westover Elementary School will be relocated to the former Pitney Bowes building as the school undergoes mold remediation, board of education officials say.
Stamford parents got a look at the relocation plan Wednesday night after students and staff were forced out of the school due to mold.
School officials decided to move Westover Elementary School to the former Pitney Bowes building until students can go back to their school.
Students will start classes on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
The location was chosen based off the ability to keep students together.
Students will start the day at Chelsea Piers before being taken to the relocation site.
Officials say they hope Westover Elementary School will be re-opened for the start of 2019 school year.
