The Unitarian Church in Westport says it has set a new Guinness world record for Christmas caroling tonight, all while raising money for a good cause.

Organizers say 502 people participated and went door-to-door to 14 houses, singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Let It Snow."

Each participant donated $10, which was donated to the Lilly-Sarah-Grace Fund, named for the three sisters who died in a fire in Stamford last Christmas. The foundation helps art programs at schools nationwide.
