The Westport Farmers Market celebrated the memory of its most famous founding member Thursday -- Paul Newman.
The 12-year-old market is where vendors can sell locally grown and health conscious products.
Visitors had a chance to taste test some fresh food and iced tea while snapping selfies alongside a life-sized cutout bearing Newman's likeness.
The event’s organizers say the Newman’s Own foundation's mission aligns with their own -- encouraging people to live better, healthier lives.
The Farmers Market returns Thursday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Newman's Own is planning to make a video in honor of Paul Newman using memories from the market. It will be released on the anniversary of his death in September.
