The Westport Farmers' Market opened for its 19th year today.
This year's theme is "Seeding the Season." The market celebrated with live music and free seed packets.
The Westport Farmers' Market touts locally sourced food from over 50 farms and vendors.
"You really actually know who grows your food when you shop a market," said Lori Cochran-Dougall, executive director of Westport Farmers' Market. "Knowing who grows your food actually really does create a sustainable community."
The market is held every Thursday, rain or shine, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. until Nov. 13 at 50 Imperial Ave.
