Westport's first selectwoman invited local businesses to celebrate the launch of a website that will showcase the town.

Discover Westport is a site with all of the public amenities, businesses, restaurants, parks and town events available.

It will updated regularly by members of the town's government.

Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker says she hopes the website is a major resource for both existing and potential Westport residents.

"We can make sure that we have a presence online. You know, we have so many new residents, we have so many people visiting Connecticut now. I know post-pandemic, people have talked about Connecticut as a destination, so this website puts us on the digital map," said Tooker.

Tooker says the website was completely town-funded as many businesses can benefit from it.
