The Museum for History and Culture in Westport was celebrating the holidays early on Saturday.
The museum offered holiday activities including a re-enactment of Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol."
"We love to build a passion for history really young so they can not only appreciate history as they grow older but the more of a passion we can build, it just leads to an informed citizens," said Nicole Carpenter, who works at the museum.
Visitors also had a chance to decorate holiday cookies and could do various arts and crafts.
