Westport police say three people are facing charges for stealing a car and leading officers on a chase on I-95.
Police say Kenmar Shyaam Ausar-Allen, 18, along with a 16- and 17-year-old stole a black Jeep Grand Cherokee just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday from a driveway in Westport.
Officers tried to stop the car but say the suspects swerved and drove off.
Police deployed stop sticks, which deflated the car's tires.
Police chased the car on I-95 before it became inoperable near Exit 22 in Fairfield.
All three attempted to leave the scene but were found and arrested, according to authorities.
