6ds agoThe Westport Fire Department held a promotion ceremony Wednesday, elevating former Deputy Chief Nicholas Marsan to the role of fire chief.
Marsan succeeds Mark Amatrudo, who has served as interim fire chief since July 2022.
Marsan, a member of the Westport Fire Department since 2007, also serves as the town's emergency management director.
