Westport residents are being asked to weigh in on new options for the Saugatuck River Swing Bridge

A 60‑day public comment period is now open for potential alternatives to replace the bridge, also known as the Cribari Bridge.

The state Department of Transportation said the comment window runs until April 17.

An in‑person public hearing is scheduled for March 19 in Westport to gather feedback on the project and any environmental concerns.
