Fairfield police say the wet weather caused one of their officers to lose control of a police cruiser and roll over on I-95.
It happened near exit 23 on the northbound side of the highway just before 3 a.m.
News 12 is told the officer was driving to a medical emergency when the slippery roads caused the car to flip over.
The officer was not injured.
