Whirlwind game for Sacred Heart after defeat from the Seahawks

Sacred Heart football still searching for its first win of the season. News 12, Connecticut's Justin Dave was in Fairfield today to see if the Pioneers could get in the win column. The beginning of this season has not been kind to sacred heart. A whirlwind first half for the Pioneers Saturday afternoon, 30 minutes, they'd like to forget not one, not two but three separate interceptions thrown by Pioneers quarterbacks. A couple of them were unlucky to but the third one, Wagner actually brought it all the way back to the house. Look at number 42 he's going to go down the sideline the first points of the game late in the first half. Yikes, you know, it's a defensive battle and some of your best highlights are of the punter. Sacred hearts. Andrew Reik pinned him deep in the second quarter and then with the Seahawks driving a little bit later. Sacred Heart. Yeah, let's get defensive. They got the big sack on the Wagner quarterback and then the Pios got an interception of their own. Bridgeport's Mike Lee Joseph stepped up to pick it off. Pios trailed 10, nothing at the half. They only gave up seven points in the second half. Stratford's Jalen Madison found the end zone for shoe, but it wasn't enough. Sacred heart drops to zero and three on the season in Fairfield.
