A Wilton father has created a clever response to the pandemic with a board game, with proceeds to be donated to a Bridgeport charity.
Shahan Islam, an attorney and comedian, says his imagination ran wild while trying to keep his family entertained during the spring and created COVIDOPOLY-19.
The game is based on Monopoly and features hospitals in place of railroads, as well as mask and ventilator cards and a community chest.
COVIDOPOLY-19 is being sold online and in local toy stores, with a portion of the proceeds benefits Helping Hands.
Islam says he's planning to also create a pandemic puzzle.
