WIND ALERT: Strong winds, temps feeling like in the teens and 20s today; snow showers possible New Year’s Eve
Strong west winds keep wind chills in the teens and 20s through midweek, with a brief chance of snow flurries Wednesday.

FORECAST:
Strong gusty winds up to 40-45 miles per hour will make it feel very cold today. Dress for the teens and 20s all day long despite the sun and numbers near 30 degrees on the thermometer. A few dry tree branches may come down with isolated power outages at worse. The rest of the week stays on the chilly side with a mix of clouds and sun, gusty winds at times, and temperatures generally hovering in the upper 20s to mid-30s. Aside from a small chance of snow showers late Wednesday night that may leave a light coating or trace of snow, the pattern remains mainly dry heading into the weekend.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and chilly with highs in the low to mid-30s. Winds ease slightly compared to Tuesday.

Friday: Plenty of sunshine with highs around 30 to the low 30s.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and slightly milder, with temperatures climbing into the low to mid-30s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with a modest warm-up, as temperatures range from the low to mid-30s.
