The fierce winds brought down many trees in southwestern Connecticut last night.
A cold front moved into the state yesterday bringing gusty winds that reached 40 to 50 miles per hour.
One broken tree happened on Birch Lane in Greenwich. The tree snapped causing it to bring down power lines.
