Police visited a troubled housing complex in Bridgeport Wednesday after witnesses say they heard gunshots.
Police were on the scene at the Trumbull Gardens housing complex Wednesday night, but did not confirm any details about what may have happened.
Witnesses say that a dark-colored car stopped nearby. They say two people leaned out and fired shots, one of which reportedly hit a young person on the street.
The witnesses say the suspects sped away and the victim was taken to a hospital.
There is no word yet on the victim's condition.
