9h agoWolfpit Road in Wilton has reopened following a gas main break, according to the Wilton Police Department.
Police said a construction crew struck an 8-inch Eversource gas line while conducting work on Wolfpit Road near Horseshoe Road.
Monday, officials closed off the area to drivers to ensure public safety until Eversource could arrive and take over repairs.
Police said there was no danger to the students of Miller-Driscoll, which is near the scene.
