A Stamford woman who survived a car accident Friday says she wants to thank the Good Samaritans who pulled her to safety.
Yvette Owens was trapped in her burning Denali after a merging vehicle clipped her car near exit 35 on the Merritt Parkway. Owens says her SUV hit a tree and came to a stop, blocking two lanes. She was unable to free herself and was finally rescued through the passenger-side door by witnesses who stopped to help.
"I just have to say thank you, because if it wasn't for them?I don't think I'd be here," Owens says.
