Police say a Woodbridge man broke into a UConn student's apartment and attacked her Saturday on the Storrs campus.
Frank Cirillo, 21, also a UConn student, now faces a number of charges including first-degree sexual assault, home invasion and first-degree burglary.
Police told News 12 Connecticut the incident was not related to another rape at the university a week ago.
Still, Gov. Jodi Rell ordered a full security assessment of the campus and surrounding area, which will be conducted by Connecticut's Department of Public Safety.
