Yale New Haven Children's Hospital has once again been ranked the top children's hospital in Connecticut by U.S. News & World Report.

The hospital was also ranked No. 2 in New England and received national recognition in seven pediatric specialties.

Among the specialties recognized were Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Orthopedics, Neonatology, Nephrology, and Pulmonology and Lung Surgery.

The hospital was also listed among the nation's top 50 programs for Pediatric and Adolescent Behavioral Health.

Hospital officials say the rankings reflect the work of physicians, nurses and staff who provide care to children and families across the region.
