The Yale Peabody Museum has reopened to the public following a four-year renovation.
The museum began renovation at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, partly due to a $160 million donation.
The renovations relocated administrative offices and added a new wing. These changes provide 50% more gallery space for artifacts.
The museum also took away the entry fee.
Peabody administrators say that making the museum free is a step toward strengthening the partnership between them and their visitors.
