A former employee of the Westport YMCA is accused of exposing himself to several 11-year-olds at the center.
Joshua Wang, 21, is charged with three counts of public indecency and risk of injury. Wang had been employed as a lifeguard at the YMCA.
?He had exposed himself in a locker room and was inappropriately touching himself in front of those minors,? says Lt. David Kassay, of the Westport Police Department.
Wang turned himself in to police Friday afternoon.
Authorities say he never had contact with or touched any of the children. They were tipped off to the situation after a parent reported the lifeguard. YMCA officials say they caught him fondling himself the day the police were notified. He was also fired.
Wang has been released on $1,000 bond. He is set to appear in court at the end of March.
