YMCA pop-up clinic offers appointment-free vaccines in Stamford

The YMCA in Stamford is holding a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic today where no appointment is needed.
The Stamford YMCA at 10 Bell St. will hold the clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Officials say no appointments are required, but those interested can pre-register online.

The Pfizer vaccine is being offered to those 16 and older who live or work in Connecticut.
Officials say 16- and 17-year-olds must have a parent or guardian with them or bring a consent form.
Getting a vaccine at the Stamford Department of Health clinic is now easier too.
No appointment is needed at the clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
The clinic is located at 137 Henry St., and it's open Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Community Health Center clinics across the state now allow walk-ups, including the drive-thru site at Lord and Taylor and the Community Health Center building on Fifth Street in Stamford.
The clinics offer both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
