Yonkers to begin hosting Gaelic Games in 2027

The fundraiser, at Rory Dolan's Bar and Restaurant, raised funds for the Redmond Park Redevelopment Project that will bring Gaelic Games to the city.

Sports stars Dwight Gooden, formerly of the New York Mets, Amad Bradshaw, formerly of the New York Giants and former New York Rangers great Ron Greschner, were joined by a crowd of supporters Saturday afternoon in Yonkers.

The fundraiser, at Rory Dolan's Bar and Restaurant, raised funds for the Redmond Park Redevelopment Project that will bring Gaelic Games to the city.

The overall budget for the redevelopment project, that will create new sports facilities at Redmond Park, amounts to about $3.5 million.

The project is expected to be completed by April 2027.
