The state medical examiner has been called in to determine the cause of death for two people who were found inside an apartment in a Bridgeport housing complex.

The bodies were found at the Trumbull Gardens. Police say a sergeant was flagged down around 7 p.m. Wednesday and directed to apartment H at 405 Trumbull Ave.

Police have not identified the victims, but neighbors say a husband and wife lived in the apartment. It was not immediately clear whether they had any children. There's also no word on a possible motive.

Police say this was an isolated incident and that their investigation is still in its early stages.
