20h agoThe Connecticut Sun, WNBA professional basketball team is holding a shoe drive at their games in honor of Brittney Griner who is being held in Russia on alleged drug charges.
The team announced they will be collecting gently used shoes, and toiletries at any of their home games to help benefit the Homeless Hospitality Center.
Griner formed the shoe drive, BG's Heart & Sole drive in 2016.
The team says collection bins will be available at any of their upcoming home games.
