Milford police have announced that they have made an arrest in connection with a 2006 murder.

Police arrested Matthew Pugh, 40, in the death of Alexandra Ducsay.

According to officials, Pugh killed the 26-year-old Ducsay in her home on Booth Bay Street.

Investigators say that Pugh and Ducsay had previously dated, but broke up when Ducsay was 16 years old. They say Pugh stalked Ducsay from prison with threatening letters and phone calls before killing her.

Pugh is currently behind bars on an unrelated charge.
