"We've been home almost six days," says Councilwoman Jeanette Herron. "None of us have shown signs. We are on the side of caution, but please everybody do not panic out there."
Herron says there were thousands of people at the conference and only two of them are known to have tested positive.
"We are still awaiting information stating what workshops those individuals were in, and we as a council do not even know if we were exposed to those individuals so we are not in panic," says Herron.
Herron says when the councilmembers left for the conference there were no confirmed cases in Bridgeport or Washington, otherwise they would have never went.
"I have a mother that's 86, I have a family, I have an infant in my home, I'm not jeopardizing them," says Herron.
Herron is urging everyone to follow the government-mandated safety precautions.
Officials say the two people who tested positive were from Colorado.
