The Bridgeport community is mourning the loss of a beloved member of the community.
Josiah Gray, who had cerebral palsy, was remembered Wednesday night for his "magic smile" following his death at 19 years old.
"I was in shock for about 10 minutes. I couldn't move," said Isabell Richardson, from Bridgeport. Gray’s loved ones say he was famous for his "magic smile," and for being a pillar in the community.
Richardson said Gray’s innocence and gentle soul stirred emotions in the hearts of everyone who knew him. "I was crying big tears, still crying. I got a broken heart," said Richardson.
She’s urging the community to come together in support of Gray’s family, who she says are reeling in the wake of his death.
