A nun is celebrating her 60th year as an Ursaline sister at the Academy of Mount Saint Ursula in the Bronx. The school is also her Alma matter. Sister Alice Marie has touched the lives of many students

Catholic girls' school celebrates nun's 60th year
A nun is celebrating her 60th year as an Ursaline sister at the Academy of Mount Saint Ursula in the Bronx. The school is also her Alma matter.
Sister Alice Marie has touched the lives of many students and continues to mentor them through different educational programs. She says she loves seeing her students grow and is proud to know them.
"I'm just so grateful for them all, for all the love that they show me, for just trying to do a little bit to make things better," she says.
Student Mcckayla Menyah says, "She means the world to me because she's been with me since freshman year, and she's just a wonderful person and I'm so glad that I met her."
