Altaire Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is voluntarily recalling some eye drops and ointments sold at Walgreens and Walmart over concerns the products may not be sterile.
According to the FDA, the products are sold exclusively at both stores.
Administration of a non-sterile product may result in serious and potentially life threatening infections or death.
The company has not received any reports of illnesses.
