Crews are nearly done demolishing the historic church that collapsed in New London on Jan. 25.
Meanwhile, Connecticut College students who lived directly next to the church can safely return to their apartments.
Last week, the steeple and roof of Engaging Heaven Church crumbled.
Police say they found one person unhurt inside during a search.
There is no word yet on what caused the collapse.
