Contractor faces charges for allegedly scamming customers in Milford
A Danbury man is facing several charges after Milford police say the former independent contractor scammed customers out of nearly $60,000.
 
Police say they arrested Armandito Ortiz Monday for pocketing customer payments to the company, "Invent Help."
 
 They say the company has now compensated victims with refunds or new contracts.
