A Danbury man has pleaded guilty to a fatal highway shooting that prosecutors say was both gang-related and a case of mistaken identity.
Federal officials say Alex Garcia made the plea yesterday.
Authorities say Garcia killed Mark Rebong of Newtown in 2000 on I-84 in Danbury.
They say Rebong was not involved in criminal activities.
Officials say Garcia will be sentenced to 30 years in prison in September.
