A Darien mother-daughter team have come up with a creative, new way to keep women's finances in order.

Susan Bruno, who has more than 25 years experience as a personal financial planner, says she had a moment of inspiration a few years ago after realizing women needed a better understanding of their finances.

Bruno and her 23-year-old daughter, Stephanie, created Diva CFO, a website and app that helps empower women financially.

The website offers free information on ways women can keep their finances in order. According to Bruno, the app works as a virtual filing cabinet for personal and financial documents.
