An Easton woman has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly trying to smother her daughter with a pillow.Police say that on September 12, Karen Trusty, 31, was trying to smother her 16-month-old child when she was stopped by her husband.According to the arrest warrant, Trusty told her husband she heard voices. Robert Lopez told police his wife suffered from postpartum depression. Trusty was taken to St. Vincent?s Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
