Funeral held today for Connecticut man killed in terror attack while attending wedding in Israel, group says

The 27-year-old West Hartford man was visiting Israel for a wedding when he was shot and killed during a terror attack in the West Bank Monday, The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford says.

A 27-year-old Connecticut man was laid to rest today in Israel after he was killed in a terror attack in the West Bank Monday, The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford says.
Elan Ganeles, 27, of West Hartford, was killed in the attack Monday, The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford says.
"Our community is shocked and outraged at the brutal murder. Ganeles was gunned down in a terrorist attack in Israel Monday evening. He was rushed to Hadassah Medical Center in critical condition as paramedics attempted to resuscitate him. He was sadly pronounced dead at the hospital," The Jewish Federation of Greater wrote in a statement.
The federation says Ganeles grew up in West Hartford and was in Israel to attend a wedding.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford says two Palestinian terrorists allegedly drove up to Ganeles' car and opened fire.
