Hundreds turned out in Bridgeport Saturday to pay their respects to a beloved local resident who was killed in a car accident.
Mourners came from as far away as Florida and California to say farewell to 45-year-old Denise Fogle, who worked with adults with special needs at the Kennedy Center in Stratford.
Fogle was killed when the minivan she was driving collided with vehicle on Seaview Avenue last Friday.
Fogle’s lifelong friend Latrenda Dixon came from North Carolina to pay her respects.
"Anybody that knows Denise knows her by her smile,” she says. “She loves her accessories, she loves to dress up, she loves her eye shadow. She was just a loving, loving person."
The cause of that crash remains under investigation.
