Police are looking for clues in the death of a man whose bloody body was discovered in a Bridgeport backyard Sunday morning.

A woman who lives at the Beatrice Street home claims she heard what sounded like shots, but didn't know anything happened until police came knocking on her door. According to police, the victim was shot in the face.

Police hope the medical examiner report will help them identify the male victim.

The individual is described as a black man in his 30s. According to police, he was wearing a gray sweatshirt, jeans and black sneakers. Police also say he had a slight goatee.
