New York Knicks player faces prison in home country of Turkey
A player for the New York Knicks is facing some trouble in his home country of Turkey.
Turkish prosecutors are seeking four years of prison for Enes Kanter on charges of insulting the Turkish President last year through a series of tweets.
Kanter was detained in Armenia earlier this year when his Turkish passport was suddenly canceled, but American officials intervened to get the Knicks player back to the U.S.
While Kanter is safe in the U.S., he says he can't contact his family because of the repercussions they might face.
