A mother in Danbury is in serious trouble with police after leaving her child unattended in a hot car.
According to police, Kristine Rakowsky left her three-year-old son in her vehicle in the Danbury Square Plaza on Backus Avenue for over 10 minutes.
Someone parked next to Rakowsky’s vehicle, noticed the child was by himself and called police.
Rakowsky claims she was only looking for an ATM.
She is scheduled to appear in court July 7.
