Police are searching for the driver who killed an elderly man in a hit-and-run incident last night in Bridgeport. Officials say the incident happened at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and State

Police search for driver in fatal Bridgeport hit-and-run
Police are searching for the driver who killed an elderly man in a hit-and-run incident last night in Bridgeport.
Officials say the incident happened at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and State Street around 7 p.m.
Police say that a passing motorist saw the man in the intersection and blocked traffic until police and EMS could arrive.
Authorities say that the poor visibility yesterday and the victim wearing dark clothing may have contributed to the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police at 203-581-5205.
